Our Schools Received All A’s

A great education promises children a path to life-long learning and future success. That’s why we are proud that schools zoned to our community received an A on their 2022 Niche report card.

Each year, Niche examines current data sourced from the U.S. Department of Education, state testing results and the National Center for Education Studies to create lists of the best public elementary, middle and high schools.

Three of our schools were ranked among the top 20 percent in the state with Lindsey Elementary scoring in the top 10 percent out of a whopping 4,614 elementary schools.

Lindsey is a state-of-the-art facility with 38 classrooms, a library, science room, a computer lab, an art room with a patio, a music room, a life skills center, a special education resource room and a gym. The Lions benefit from a strong, innovative curriculum so they can approach middle school confident of success.

Leaman Junior High is ranked among the top 15 percent out of 2,223 middle schools. Great Schools reports that student state-mandated test scores are far above the average, meaning that they are performing at or above grade level. That is due in large part to experienced teachers, opportunities to take honors and pre-AP classes and the presence of modern technology, including five computer labs, five laptop carts and three iPad carts.

Leaman also has a spacious band hall with practice rooms and music libraries. A full range of athletic programs is offered, including football, volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis. A number of clubs are available for after school participation.

Fulshear High School is among the top 20 percent of high schools in the state. The challenging curriculum is supplemented by award-winning arts programs including the Charger Band which has won numerous accolades. A full range of athletic opportunities and 30 clubs and organizations ensure students are well-rounded.

Jordan Ranch sixth-grade students are zoned to the new Roberts Middle School. The school is too new to have been ranked by Niche.
